The breakfast buffet was a highlight with delicious options, but I did find some small issues that could be improved. Overall, I felt it was a solid choice given the location and quality.

My experience at Doubletree By Hilton Hotel Raleigh - Brownstone - University was quite disappointing. While the location was convenient, especially for attending nearby events, I found the service lacking and the amenities not meeting my expectations, especially considering the price. The comfortable beds were a positive note during my stay, but the overall attitude of the staff left much to be desired.

Unfortunately, the front desk staff were snippy and unhelpful when I arrived. It seemed like they were annoyed to be there, which set a negative tone for my stay. An exception was made when I checked out, as the managers were friendly, but overall it was a letdown.

Breakfast was a bit confusing regarding who received complimentary options, and I ended up leaving to find a meal elsewhere. The food I did see looked decent, but the experience was marred by the staff's attitudes.
Facilities

The amenities didn’t quite match the high rates, as I found some of the towels to be soiled, and there seemed to be a lack of basic supplies like extra toiletries after my requests.
